A gut-skin formulation for distribution partners

A gut-skin category for the psoriasis marketin Europe.

en-CLEAR is a gut-skin axis formulation designed by the Enbiosis Digital Twin & AI Engine, the same engine behind en-TEAR. We are appointing one exclusive partner per territory.

The people

Psoriasis is part of daily life for millions of people.

100M

people

Approximately 100 million people worldwide live with psoriasis, by self-reported estimates.

The engine

Most supplements start with an ingredient. en-CLEAR starts with a target.

The usual way to build a supplement is to take a known ingredient and look for an effect. The Enbiosis engine works in reverse: it models what the gut microbiome needs to produce, then designs the food-grade inputs that get it there.

The product

One programme. One daily routine. Ninety days.

A daily food supplement, designed around the gut-skin axis from the first line of the formula. Built to sit inside an existing routine, not to replace a varied and balanced diet.

The comparison

The difference is where the design starts.

Comparing approaches is more useful than comparing brands: each row shows how a common approach is built and the question it leaves open.

  • Skin-level care

    Creams, serums, cleansers

    Starts from
    The skin surface
    How it works
Acts directly on the skin, from the outside in.
    The open question
The gut sits outside its scope.
  • Beauty supplements

Collagen, biotin, hyaluronic acid, zinc, vitamin C

    Starts from
    A familiar ingredient
    How it works
Formulas are built around well-known ingredients.
    The open question
Familiarity is not the same as a defined gut target.
  • Live probiotics

    Single strains or multi-strain blends

    Starts from
    A bacterial strain
    How it works
Selected bacteria are added to the gut.
    The open question
Effects depend on the strain, and survival and colonisation vary from person to person.
  • Single-pathway actives

    One compound or one botanical

    Starts from
    One mechanism
    How it works
One ingredient is chosen for one biological pathway.
    The open question
Many factors shape skin, so one pathway rarely explains all of it.
  • Long-list blends

    Many actives in one product

    Starts from
    A list of actives
    How it works
Many recognisable ingredients are combined in one product.
    The open question
Overlapping roles make it hard to say what each ingredient does.

en-CLEAR

Designed by the Enbiosis Digital Twin & AI Engine

Starts from
Target metabolites
How it works
A digital twin of the gut models microbial metabolism. AI then selects the food-grade precursors predicted to lead to the target metabolites.
The open question
Its own clinical study is in preparation.

Approaches, not brands: each row describes a common approach, not every product built on it. en-CLEAR is a food supplement, not a substitute for skin care or medical care.

The category has room for a product designed from the gut.

Why the gut

Psoriasis shows on the skin. Research is also looking at the gut.

Studies comparing people with and without psoriasis report differences in the gut. They show associations, not proof of cause, and they are why research now looks at the gut-skin axis.

  1. 01

    A different gut microbiome

Compared with healthy controls, studies report a different gut microbiome in people with psoriasis, often involving bacteria that produce short-chain fatty acids. Specific signatures vary between studies.1

  2. 02

    Gut barrier markers

Small cross-sectional studies found higher blood markers of gut barrier disruption, such as I-FABP and claudin-3, in people with psoriasis, linked to disease severity.2

  3. 03

    A shared immune pathway

Psoriasis and inflammatory bowel disease share the IL-23/IL-17 immune pathway, and people with psoriasis are more likely to also have Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.3

The studies above describe the condition. None of them tested en-CLEAR.

Design rationale

Why en-CLEAR starts in the gut

en-CLEAR is designed from the gut side of the gut-skin axis. The engine sets target metabolites and selects food-grade ingredients predicted to support them. Whether this affects skin has not been tested yet; a clinical study is planned.
